
Max McMonigle is a flautist, composer, performer, and educator based in New York City who has studied in various styles, from Classical and Jazz, to Latin and Pop. As well as playing the Flute, he also plays Saxophone, EWI, Clarinet and percussion like Steel Drum and Djembe. His college education started at the University of Central Florida with Classical Music Performance and Psychology, then moving to Berklee College of Music doing Degree focuses in Jazz Performance and Business. He has been an active performer for over 10 years, doing Jazz in groups such as The Paradise Big Band, The Larry Smith Quartet, Sean Temme Group, Peyton griffin Trio and more amongst his solo works and professional studio recordings. He has also been active teaching woodwinds, music theory, and jazz studies for over 7 years from elementary to collegiate levels.
